I’ve always had a pretty exciting life, but lately I feel like I’m just wasting time. When I was younger, my parents always used to get into fights, and when they divorced my mom started dating a lot of bad people, and was into drugs and things like that (I never was).
After high school, I started living on my own in Indianapolis. I’ve been blown up, shot at, been in high-speed get aways from drug dealers I pissed off, I saw a couple of gang fights, my friends and I burned down a guy’s car, I helped put a pedophile in jail, etc. Now, I’m in the military, and I have an endless list of rules to follow. I really used to enjoy pissing off bad people, but now I feel worthless and like my life doesn’t amount to anything.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I don’t need to see a psychologist, thank you. I need to get rid of the motonoy in my life, and if you can’t understand that then maybe you should re-evaluate what you enjoy in life.
@Cece, sorry, I meant it as in I don’t do those things anymore because of the military, and if I did I would probably be discharged.
@Midders, you’re absolutely right. I can and do follow the rules of the military, but it’s like I have to bend over backwards to do so. Joining was a decision I made so that I could get a higher education without having to go thousands into debt to get it. Now that I have a degree, I’m starting to see through the veil of bs the military has pulled over my eyes.
