i have a daughter with these diseasess i have been all through nj and philadelphia hospitals or childrens hospitals.they have not been able to control her seizures. can anyone give any ideas of where to go to get more opinions. foundations,childrens hospitals,etc,etc..

Buffalo, NY has a fabulous Childrens Hospital. You may need a referal from her Pediatrican.

A friend of mine is looking for a alcohol abuse program near boston, ma (pref. in the revere/malden area) he asked me for help finding some place since I work in the field but i don’t know of any programs like this in the area (i work in central ma). any ideas?

Call the Salvation Army they might be able to tell you & if not call the hospital in that area. If you still can’t find anything e-mail & remind me of your queston & I will help you.

I just don’t understand why people bother to have children if they don’t want to have the responsibility. Some people spend years trying to get pregnant and still cant conceive, they want so badly to be parents and yet you get people like this who treat children as if they were unwanted toys. I’m just glad that the children got taken away, I wish it would’ve happened sooner. I hope that they don’t suffer long term effects both mentally and physically – the parents should be shot

He’s 30 and this is his first felony. He is a drug addict but he was not arrested for drugs. Could they possibly make him get treatment though as part of his punishment even though it wasn’t a drug crime. How much jail could he get and how much will he probably get? Also, he has to get a public defender.
