How Are Prescription Drugs So Abused if Ppl Dont Have a Legitimate Prescription?
Question by rtinsley30: How are prescription drugs so abused if ppl dont have a legitimate prescription?
I am inquiring for a paper I am writing for College Composition, on Drugs in Juvenile Justice. It shocked me that prescriptions are more abused than any other drug besides marijuana. However Marijuana hasnt caused any documented deaths, and kids are oversoding on medication. I realize millions of kids are prescribed meds for ADD, and ADHD, but I am curious about the ones who arent? Where do they get them from? Street prices are expensive, so are they stealing from their parents? Thanks for any suggestions, plz answer my other question if you can, I appreciate, and I am not looking for drugs, lol. Thanks

Definition of Permanent Guardianship in Indiana?
Question by kristie: Definition Of Permanent Guardianship In Indiana?
We have permanent Guardianship over our granddaughter. When she was 6 months old her mother was sent to jail, then rehab where she escaped and then caughter and sent to prison. She had gotten pregnant and had a baby boy in prision. She has not seen her for 2 1/2 years so this child does not know her. The father our son has just vanished out of her life and never established paternal rights. The mother got out of prison last july and didn’t come forward till this past December. She filed a petition to reverse the Permanent Guardianship which we are prepared to fight. She shot up drugs during the preganancy and after. The little girl was born 2 months premature and I had her then and went through the withdraws with her. She is now for the most part doing well. She is behind in speech, her behavior and major sleep problems. We are currently have her tested and evaluated at Riley Childrens Hospitial. We are the only ones that she recognizes . I didn agree to let the mother come up to my house for a limit time to see how the baby would react. There was a deposition schedule and hearing. The hearing has been continued 4 times. Now she is proposing that the little girl remains with us and we let her have visitation. What I want to know Is when you have Permanent Guardianship in Indiana over your grandkids it is the same as custody just the language on how it has to be written up is different. She wants joint custody and for us to have her physical custody. I do not want to change the guardianship. She says she has changed, but I have reason to believe she is still unstable. She gave up her two older childrens about 4 years ago totally to her exhusbands parents, she did all this stuff to our granddaughter which some of it is just to me abuse and neglect. Now she has a boy 1 1/2 years old she had in prison. We want to adopt her so she will have a normal healthly life with no more drama. To be able to give her the best life she deserves. Can this bedone?
